MEET GEORGIA DESIGNER IVEY SMITH

HELLO!

I’m Ivey Smith, a graphic designer from the Atlanta area. I have been working in the digital media industry since 2017. I got my start as a photo editor at a photography studio when I was in college pursuing a BA in the fine arts. Over time I was promoted to head graphic designer, assistant photographer, and print shop manager. During those three years I learned a lot about working on the job with clients to meet their individual needs. Working so closely with clients on their creative projects gave me the confidence to start freelancing my photography and graphic design skills to fully explore what the industry has to offer. Nothing is more satisfying than seeing a cohesive brand come together. I love working with business owners to discover their companies visual language.

I currently hold the position of Head of Graphic Design and Web Designer at a marketing firm in Georgia, I’ve also opened my own photo studio focusing on portraits and headshot photography. In this portfolio you can see some of my recent branding, graphic design, and web design work from the past two years. As head of design much of the art directions and visual language of our clients branding is guided and influenced by my decisions. All of the work you see in my portfolio is currently used in my clients marketing allowing them to grow their businesses and connect with potential clients. Many of these sites are subject to change due to client requests and the ever shifting landcape of SEO, the examples I have provided are from their finalization at launch.
